Focus areas: localization substitution and industry upgrade opportunities in the semiconductor display field as well as the investment opportunities after the integration of semiconductor display and IC semiconductor. Leading and participating in investment projects include Eswin, Seichitech, Darbond, Fineset, Jingdao Microelectronics, Hyperions, Hozel, Keihin Optical, Qst, etc.
Dafei Sun previously worked in one of the top domestic private equity investment companies, international renowned investment banks and even a Chinese top policy bank. In fifteen years’ working experience, the main business areas he served were included equity investment, M&A and financing management etc. Meanwhile, Mr. Sun owned plenty of experience in terms of early-stage investment. Before establishing the Triniti Capital, he had invested over 20 TMT and early-stage medical projects individually. Initially, he served for Hony Capital as head of strategic project source department. The main areas he focused were advanced manufacturing, consumer and e-commerce etc. Prior to joining in Hony Captial, he also worked at the Royal Bank of Scotland and China Development Bank.
Dafei holds both bachelor's and master's degree from Beijing Institute of Technology University in Electronic Engineering and he also received an EMBA degree from Tsinghua PBCSF. In addition, he is the Chairman of the Youth Alumni Association which was co-founded by him, Deputy Director of the Investment Committee of Education Foundation of Beijing Institute of Technology University and a member of the 11th Beijing Youth Federation Committee and Secretary General of the Financial Sector of the Committee.
